Mummy: We’ll see.

That is really quite cute, you realize.
You've certainly been around.
B: It was adorable. It was cute, hilarious, and I loved the challenging, disbelieving tone of Mummy.
H: For a couple of years in the late 90s/early aughts, I was beginning to believe that was true. Lately, though, I'm pretty much limited to my home stomping grounds and Portland, Maine.
That's funny.
Also, my mother's favourite words were always "we'll see" but usually in a different context!
Mali: My mom too! Except it actually meant "no."
IB: Yep, that's exactly what my mother meant too! She used it for a long time, so I must have been a slow learner.
"We'll see" meant no. "Maybe" meant yes, but my dad would be the one to confirm it.
IB: my blog is fixed. Please try again at your leisure.
